Building Trades Once Again Endorse Ananich for State Senate
Genesee/Lapeer/Shiawasee workers trust Ananich to fight for them
FLINT – Once again the Genesee/Lapeer/Shaiwasee Building Trades Council has come out early to support State Senator Jim Ananich (D-Flint) for reelection. Ananich recently filed for reelection after being elected to the Senate in a special election last May.
"I appreciate the confidence these workers have shown in me and promise to continue standing up for them in Lansing," Ananich said. “We can only improve our economy by supporting our hard working men and women and fighting for policies that strengthen our middle-class."
Since arriving in the Senate, Ananich has been leading the charge to protect and create good-paying jobs, repeal tax hikes on seniors and working families, and improve public safety. He currently serves on four committees: Banking and Financial Institutions, Economic Development, Health Policy, and Transportation.
